Open air markets have an age old attraction- some combination of hawkers sounds in unfamiliar language, strange scents from every direction, the menagerie of swirling enterprise, business being done and food and goods changing hands in tunnel like passages of stalls with shafts of light poking through a quilt work of multicolored awnings overhead.
