A variable species included by some authorities (again) with Trillium angustipetalum or T. chloropetalum, these are the black sheep of the Wake Robin family. These photos from the lower Rogue River drainage. There are pink, red, nearly black and even green forms to be found in this area, most with dramatic purple and silver dappled foliage.
